From January 1, 2017, admission to the citadel of Machu Picchu, in the Cusco region, will be maintained in 64 soles for adults and 32 soles for Peruvian students, according to the promotional rates for admission to archaeological and pre-Hispanic monuments for national visitors And foreigners residing in the country and the Andean Community, approved by the Ministry of Culture.
The respective Ministerial Resolution No. 493-2016-MC was published this Saturday in the Bulletin of Legal Issues of the newspaper El Peruano.
Rates in force. On January 29, 2016, through Ministerial Resolution No. 30-2016-MC, the entrance fees for the Prehispanic Archaeological Monuments and museums that were part of the Cultural Heritage of the Nation were approved and are applicable for 2017.
The new rates for foreign tourists to the Citadel of Machu Picchu will be 152 soles for adults, 77 soles for upper level students and 70 soles for schoolchildren.
